Yesterday I was driving home from work, and I noticed that my truck (I have a 95 Dodge Dakota) was pulling slightly to the right. Since I just got an alignment last month, I assumed it was due to tire pressure. but soon after, I had to hit my brakes, and the truck veered severely left. This happened 3 more times, and then I had to pull over, because my brakes were getting hot. It turned out they were dragging. (at least the left side was) Because my truck has been through two floods in the past year, I assumed the calipers were corroded on the piston wall. I replaced them with new ones, but now the left side is still hard to turn by hand. I don`t think the master cylinder would cause a problem with just one side. I have had a couple people suggest that the distribution valve is bad, but then other people say they never go bad. I have rear wheel abs, but the rear brakes are fine. The rotors are good, too. I made sure I checked them. The brakes grab fine, but the pressure does not want to release properly on the left side. What could cause this?

checked. Its not as likely, but someone could have dented a steel line while working on it.
Also, when you replaced the caliper, did you replace only the floating part? Make sure it slides back and forth OK.

open bleeder . If it releases, it is the hose . You can not see a bad hose. They constrict inside and act as a pressure valve. Work with pedal under pressure, but don`t release as there is no pressure coming back as the pedal is released.
