the clutch works fine until the engine heats up (about 20min) and then shifting will not work unless I turn the car off, shift into first and then restart and shift from 1st to 3rd once I am moving. is this an adjustment or do I need a new clutch?

I think that it might be the spring that holds the clutch pedal that's not engaging properly.
