Mike. on a quick look on yahoo, classified. I fould over 165 mazda miatas listed. that was a search under the key words 'miata automatic'. I suggest that you use a little of your expence money and come south of the boarder and pick up you new car here. there are many miatas listed in the north west usa I found 4 list in Kirkland Washinton state. and with the difference in the exchange rate you might even save a dollar or two. And in driving it home you will find out just what it means to own a miata. 'it is the best thing in the world'. something else you might just try. talk to your local miata dealer and club. If you want this little car that bad. do what you have to to get it. It might cost you a little more than If you could just find someone to sell you one. But I sorry to tell you the world just does not work that way. If you want something bad enough you have to be willing to pay the cost. I wish you luck in finding the car of your dreams. mine was a 1997 whit mazda miata, standard. nothing special. but she means the world to me.

Mike, Do you want a automatic Miata or not, if this is truly the car that you can not live with out. 20% is nothing. you will be happy that you spent it. and you can make up the difference by purchasing a miata that is a year or two older than what you first planned. so stop bitchin and complaining about no one helping you to find what you want. If you want something strong enough you will find a way to get it. contact a auto purchaser. or go to a used car lot and have the owner run a search in your area for a used miata with your specs. you will still end up paying a mark up. but you will get what you want. and if you want something enough you will find a way. no one on the site is going to sell you a automatic miata in Vancouver BC. we all have standards and most live else where. and no body here is going to drive up to BC just to help you search for the car of your dreams close to where you live. the chances are great that there is not a used automatic Miata for sale by owner anywhere near you. to get this car you will have to pay for the service of a auto buyer, who can import the car from a different state or providence. your car will come from out of town and it will probably come from the land of fruits and nuts. (California) where people will buy anything, including a automatic miata. I wish you luck in the search for your dream Miata. but If you do not act for your self it will always just be a dream

I waited ten years until I could afford a Miata. buying one at 16 could be a good thing, I wish I could afford to buy a miata at 16.

Listen, $5900 is extremely cheap, but I can't spend anymore than $10 000 Canadian. With the conversion from US dollars to Canadian then the 20% I gotta pay to bring it to Canada this is what it comes out to in Canadian dollars.

It comes out to $11 671.38 so from all the way from $5900 USD to $11 671.38 CDN will all the crap they make us tdo at the boarder.
