Have the 2000SE 6 speed. Have 3000 miles on it & the transmission feels like it is harder to find the right gear. Especially 3 & 4 , I wind up going in 6 instead of 4 & 5 instead of 3. This problem seems to get worse as the miles add up rather then working in. Also hear a clunk but sharper when shifting & the clutch is more abrup then smooth. Also when shifting in the gate it does not smoothly go into the slot but hits the area outside the slot.

Put some Redline MTL or MT90 in the trans or have someone do it if you can't. It will be about 80% better. Keep the rpm's up above 4000 when shifting or really 'feel' it into gear. Mine only has trouble going into 2nd or 3rd, but is much better after it is warmed up. Mine seems to not want to go into 1st or 2nd sometimes when it is cold, but when warm is much better. I intend to take the turret off one of these days and see if the gate can be lubed up any better. I have 9000 on my 2000SE now and putting the MT90 was the best thing I could do for it. I hear the MTL is even better.
