Speeding violation in Broome County, NY

Hi All,

Please advise!!! I was returning from Buffalo to Jersey city, NJ and was pulled over for speeding in a 55mph work zone; I was doing 74mph (4mph over the maximum limit, I guess - 55mph+15mph).

The office gave me two papers, one the ticket and the other, a deposition for the speeding violation with the Radar model number and other details.

The Ticket reads pretty scary; if I plead guilty, it says in addition to a penalty, my license and registration could be suspended or revoked!!!

Please advise, I have a clean record and have NEVER received any kind of traffic ticket.

I have pleaded not guilty..the case is still on..I was offered to pay $300 or so with 3 points on my license to end the case but I have refused to do so as it is very expensive and outrageous...they try to rip you off so fight it...
