If you had a chance to spend a quarter of million dollars, some old uncle just gave you a gift, no strings attached, would you spend it on a bus for the church or run into the nearest Porsche dealer?

The beauty of religious mania, according to Stephan King is, that once we accept god as the reason for things happening, we can just toss logic out the window. I feel this way about cars and convertibles in particular.
I choose the second option, even though it might no be Porsche... I live for cars! I could not pass out on such an opportunity.

Maybe you could spend on both... 250K dollars is a lot of car money.

of course one can buy more than one car with that sum, but that car would not be the ideal convertible. the idea of the question is to find out how centered you are on your own needs.

I admit, I am selfish perhaps, but with such money it would be very hard to give up the chance of realizing a dream...

I would spend a quarter million on real estate to rent out, plus 1 place for me, and use the rent money to finance the cars I want.

Get an old school 40's sedan rod, I love the fenders/running board combo.
Get a total sleeper, like a VW bug body with a porsche everything else underneath. That would be an awesome roadster to take on some twisty roads! Just think of the looks you would get with a "bug" going bug f&*k on a road or road coarse!

how many porsche's do you want then? A Porsche is PS50,000 tops.

and old school bus would cost way less that's for sure

You would have to admit that it would be fun to get 4 or five of these running around! Low weight/decent horsepower and they handle like little go carts! There is a company in the US that will make any car a convertible, so it can be made to be an almost roadster!

They're cute but I would feel a bit afraid in it in between all those big cars around me
