What Is The Hybrid Car?

Hybrid means a combination of two sorts, In this case its gasoline and electricity - two sorts of energy.
The car has a special motor that allows it to run on electricity and gasoline alternatively.
It runs on gas when speeding on the highway and on electricity in lower speeds. While it is on gas it also loads up the batteries for the next time it will use electricity. Hence making the best use of it’s gasoline’s energy.

The hybrid technology is what should be considered as a "no brainer".
These cars are efficient fuel users with almost 1,5 times the EPA rate compared to normal cars because they run on electricity in the city.
What with oil prices rising, it is making more and more sense to drive fuel saving cars.
The rate of 29 mpg on the highway and 33 in the city for a hybrid SUV like the Ford Escape or the Mercury Mariner sure sounds tempting to me? Besides, it’s good for the environment too.  This technology is finally at the stage that it can reach the consumer at a reasonable price. Just a little more expensive that a regular counterfeiting car, this is a long term investment that will save you money.
It is the opposite of the PC printer strategy (Buy a printer for a low price and get ripped of for ink?). Pay a little bit more now, but save on gasoline later! and this is only temporary - car makers are striving to improve hybrid prices and the gap should straighten itself out in a few years. The cars are comfortable and drive smoothly. This is the technology of the future.
Who knows, it might even become mandatory, just as the no led gasoline did in the late 1990’s.
